Insight TV Launches Exclusive Original Content Library for FAST Channels

Insight TV, a global channel operator and content producer with a focus on millennial and Gen-Z audiences, has announced the launch of a new, exclusive original content library for its free ad-supported TV (FAST) channels. This move is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to expanding its presence in the sector and remaining at the forefront of the industry.

Since the launch of its first FAST channel in 2018, Insight TV has continued to develop and invest in the business, and the creation of an exclusive FAST originals content library is seen as the next logical step in a highly competitive space. The company will be rolling out its new initiative across its key genres, including lifestyle, sport, music, nature/wildlife, and science/technology.

Leading the development of the FAST Originals content is Natalie Boot, Global Vice President FAST & Content Distribution at Insight TV. With over five years of experience in the FAST space, Boot and her team are well-positioned to create compelling original content that will engage and entertain viewers. Streetball with Kenny Dobbs, a co-production with bspoketv, is set to premiere later in 2023 and will be the first of many original shows to be featured on Insight TV’s FAST channels.

Commenting on the launch of the new content library, Boot said: ”Having been in the FAST segment since the early days, we have been able to follow the development of the platforms and the consumer viewing habits and have seen that FAST Originals is the logical next progression for companies to differentiate themselves and to deliver audiences to platforms and advertisers. We are excited to feature this show co-produced with bspoke as the first step in a long walk to keeping our viewers entertained with relevant content.”
